Registration

 

REGISTRATION

At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference by the early registration deadline (June 16, 2024). In other words, if the same author has published two papers, they must register twice, or the second paper must be registered by a co-author, so that both papers can be included in the proceedings. This applies similarly for subsequent papers. All presentations could be delivered in-person or online. During the on-line registration process participants will be required to select their preferred attendance method (in-person or virtual). Registration deadlines are based on the Taiwan Time Zone (UTC+8).

The registration system will open for registration starting April 1, 2024, Taipei time.

l  IN-PERSON EXPERIENCE

Author tickets (General Registration, S3TW Academics Member, and Student) includes a badge, conference proceedings in electronic format, refreshment breaks, welcome reception, and gala dinner.

  1. Only credit cards will be accepted onsite. No cash.
  2. Please note, to complete your registration, first ensure your membership is valid. S3TW only accepts individuals who are either Nationality of the Republic of China or possess a Taiwan (R.O.C.) residence permit. If you are NOT an S3TW academic member, or if your membership has expired, please note that your registration payment and S3TW academic member dues must be completed as two separate transactions. The review process for new S3TW academics member takes about 3 to 5 working days. S3TW Registration
    It is recommended to apply in advance to avoid any delays in registration. If you have any questions about S3TW academics member dues, please contact contact@s3tw.org.tw.
  3. During the on-line registration process students are required to submit PDF documentation, in English, from the University or School they attend, about their current student status.
  4. Participant ticket includes a badge, refreshment breaks, welcome reception, and gala dinner. However, participant does not represent presentation on behalf of the paper authors.

NOTE:

  1. General Registration and Virtual Participant tickets can join all virtual sessions, including keynote speeches and panel discussions. However, virtual participant does not represent online presentation on behalf of the paper authors.

l CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

All registration cancellations, due to any reason, received in writing by June 16, 2024 will be fully refunded, less 10% which will be deducted for administrative expenses. For cancellations, due to any reason, received after this date, please see the following cases:

(A) For authors of papers

For paper presentation at the Conference and publication in the Proceedings, one registration per paper is required by June 16, 2024. After this date, submitted papers will be forwarded to the Publisher for inclusion in the Conference Proceedings and no refunds will be made.

(B) For non-authors

One-half of the registration will be refunded for cancellations received in writing between June 17 and July 15, 2024. No refunds will be made from July 16, 2024 onwards.
