Program

[Q]: When will the conference agenda be announced? This will help in scheduling our itinerary?
[A]: The initial draft of the agenda will be released on June 1st.

[Q]: How long is the oral presentation? Do we need to bring our own presentation equipment?
[A]: The guidelines for oral presentations are as follows:

1. Oral presentations are organized into sessions. Each session consists of four to five presentations, each lasting 18 minutes (15 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A).
2. Each conference room is equipped with a PC (with Microsoft Office) and projector. Please try to arrive at the meeting room for your presentation session at least 10 minutes before it begins. This will allow you to upload your PowerPoint file onto the computer for your presentation and ensure that your file runs properly.

Registration

[Q]: We will participate in the conference and present a paper, when is the latest deadline for registration?
[A]: To expedite the confirmation of the list of presenters and facilitate the completion of program arrangements, allowing attendees to plan their travel for the conference in advance. At least one author of each paper must be registered for the conference by May 20, 2024. Other authors or participants can register before the conference, but the fee range varies. Please refer to the registration instructions on the official website.

[Q]: May I bring a guest to the banquet or social event?
[A]: Yes, individual guest tickets for the single evening events are available for purchase. You may make your purchase on site.
Please note: Guest tickets do not include access to sessions.

 

Travel

[Q]: If driving to the seminar venue, is parking available for external guests at Fu Jen Catholic University?
[A]: If you drive into the Fu Jen Catholic University campus, please enter through the visitor lane and take a parking ticket. Parking within the campus is free of charge if it does not exceed thirty minutes. For parking durations exceeding thirty minutes but within one hour, the fee is NT$30. After one hour, the fee is NT$40 per hour.
