The purpose of this panel is to discuss the driving mechanisms, service transformation, and the integration of technology within the sports industry toward the year 2030. The panel includes two sessions:
Session I
Topic: Commercialization of Professional Sports and Spectator Experience
This session will focus on innovative profit models for professional leagues (such as CPBL), discussing the integration of "Team Taiwan" branding with the sports fan economy, and enhancing spectator experiences through service design and stadium management.

Brief Introduction to the Moderator and Panelists
➤ Ming-Hung Lin/Professor and Chair of the Graduate Institute of Sports and Health Management, College of Management, National Chung Hsing University

Professor Ming-Hung Lin is currently Professor and Chair of the Graduate Institute of Sports and Health Management, College of Management, National Chung Hsing University. He previously served as Associate Dean of the College of Management. Professor Lin received his PhD in Sport Management from the University of Kansas, with a minor in Educational Technology, and is currently pursuing a Master of Liberal Arts in Psychology at Harvard Extension School.
His research interests include sport management, psychology and human behavior, and technology-supported innovation and development. He has published numerous articles in international journals and has led several research and international exchange projects supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Sports. In addition to his academic work, Professor Lin has long been involved in professional athletics affairs and public-sector advisory work, serving as a committee member and counselor for the Ministry of Sports and Changhua County. He has also served in technical roles at the World University Games and Asian Athletics Championships and holds certifications from World Athletics. A former elite high jumper, he represented Taiwan at the Asian Athletics Championships and the East Asian Games.

➤ Prof. Chung-Long Yu / Graduate Institute of Sport and Health Management, NCHU
Professor Chung-Long Yu (Charles) is a Professor of Strategy at the Graduate Institute of Sports and Health Management, National Chung Hsing University. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from King’s College London. Prior to that, he completed both his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physical Education and Sports Science at Taipei Physical Education College.
His research focuses on competitive strategy, blue ocean strategy, ESG initiatives, consumer behavior, and marketing strategy. Professor Yu has served as a member of a national think tank and as a consultant to various companies and organizations. His insights have been widely featured in major newspapers and media outlets. In addition to his academic achievements, he was selected as one of Taiwan’s top 50 high school baseball players and was invited to participate in the Nike All Taiwan Baseball Camp (1997–1998).
Session II
Topic: Industrialization of Mass Sports Participation
This session delves into the commercialization and industrial transformation of leisure sports. By integrating technology into sports services, we analyze how sports communities and event services drive industry supply chains and marketing momentum. Furthermore, it explores strategies for international expansion while addressing sustainable development goals (SDGs) within the global sports market.
